   The Big Picture does Mars!

   Some truly incredible photos collected here, many with direct links to Google Mars, allowing you to see the photo in the grand context of this amazing planet.

   This photo is of a barchan, a crescent shaped sand dune. Be sure to take a closer look at Photo #21, that spot in the top left is in fact a dust devil. A swirling vortex of air and dust rolling over the landscape….and it was captured by a camera orbiting the planet!

   Phenomenal.
